Closing Dates for Funding Rounds
We are always happy to discuss your proposal prior to submission.
The Trustees meet three times each financial year to consider requests.
Closing dates are as follows:
- 30 September – for the November meeting
- 31 January – for the March meeting
- 30 April – for the June meeting
Applications received after these dates will usually be considered at the following meeting.
Timeline of Request Process
When an application is received, acknowledgement of your application will be sent as soon as practicable.
If any further information is required, a staff member will contact you.
Trustees meet to consider applications at a special meeting which usually takes place 6-8 weeks after the closing date. Notification advising of the outcome of your application will be sent to you as soon as practicable, normally within two weeks of the meeting.
Generally, the majority of Trust grants are contingent on full funding being available and the project commencing. Grant funds are disbursed upon written confirmation from the grant recipient that this is due to or has occurred, and a signed copy of the Standard Grant Conditions.
A final report on your project (see Acquitting Your Grant) detailing the project outcomes and expenditure is expected within two months of the project completion, or an interim report within 12 months of the first grant payment if the project is running for more than 12 months.
