Evaluation
The Trust places considerable emphasis on evaluation both in terms of the performance of the Trust itself, (in terms of its grantmaking activities and efficiencies), and in terms of the community impact and the sustainable outcomes of the projects that the Trust supports.
Performance of the Trust
The Trust is committed to receiving feedback from all those who engage with the Trust eg. grant seekers, both those who are successful and unsuccessful, and other stakeholders. Mechanisms to facilitate communication and feedback include this website, on-line surveys etc.
As we value feedback from you about any part of your experience of the grantmaking process, including using this website, making an application, clarity of guidelines and other documents, or any interaction with the Trust which will help us to improve our grantmaking process, we would welcome your comments. Impact and Outcomes from Grants
The Trust acknowledges that this is a complex and subjective area, and in many cases, the Trust’s support for any one project is often only a small component of significant focus in any area, hence the extent to which the Trust’s support can be attributed to ultimate impact is subjective.
The Trust requires a formal Acquittal Report which seeks to obtain information about what has been achieved from the funds expended. Acquittal Reports are intended to improve the application process to more accurately capture desired outcomes. In relation to Strands and Partnerships streams, the Trust, in conjunction with the particular stakeholders, will develop specific outcome evaluation indicators for the three year period.
