Small Grants
The Small Grants program makes grants for small scale projects across the target areas selected by the Trustees to a maximum of $25,000 per grant.
Applications are sought from eligible charitable organisations for projects that fit within the following criteria:
A Small Grant is a “once off” grant to a qualifying organisation to undertake a discrete project involving:
A “stand alone” activity or project that addresses a particular need
An element or component of a larger program that is already operating – not a request for a general contribution to a large scale project
The purchase of equipment, furniture, fittings or the refurbishment of part of a building to improve the facilities from which an activity or program is operated.
Small Grants are not available to larger charitable institutions or universities.
The first step in applying to the Trust is to determine whether the Trust will be able to consider your request. Please look at Eligibility to make sure that your organisation and your project are eligible to apply.
If you wish to proceed, please download the Guidelines and Small Grants Application Form and follow the instructions for submission.
We are always happy to discuss your proposal prior to submission. If you have any queries, please contact a member of the Grants staff on 03 9631 2551.
