Jobs4U2 Program Growth Project
Supporting Aboriginal children and young people to remain engaged in education

Ganbina supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people to achieve their education, training and employment goals.
It is deeply embedded in the community and has a long-standing presence in the Goulburn Valley, supporting generations of young people to move from school into further education and work. Since 2014, Helen Macpherson Smith Trust has partnered with Ganbina, committing $1,231,500 to support this work.
Jobs4U2 Education works to keep children and young people engaged in mainstream education. By building skills and confidence, and maintaining high expectations, Ganbina supports children and young people to achieve positive outcomes for themselves, their families and communities.
Ganbina is expanding its reach, strengthening program delivery and supporting more young people to engage in education. Helen Macpherson Smith Trust funding contributes to Jobs4U2 Education program capacity and evaluation, helping ensure participants receive consistent, structured support over time.
This work aligns to the Trust’s focus on improving educational outcomes and long-term opportunities for children and young people facing systemic disadvantage. It builds on a sustained partnership with Ganbina and supports the continued delivery of place-based programs that strengthen capability and enable young people to remain engaged in education.
As we look ahead, Ganbina remains focused on our long-term strategic goals. The support from our partners enables our commitment to driving sustainable social change, expanding our reach across Australia, and continuing to empower the Aboriginal Children and Youth on our programs.
