Congratulations to Winsome McCaughey AO

Winsome McCaughey’s long-standing career spans leadership roles across a broad range of social sectors from environment to child-care and from the arts to health and government policy. Winsome was appointed a trustee of the Helen Macpherson Smith Trust in 2010 and her contributions to strategy and policy have helped shape many of the Trust’s initiatives.

Winsome is currently a Director of the Macpherson Smith Rural Foundation and of the family-run Seven Sisters Vineyard which produces Baddaginnie Run wines. Amongst her many previous roles, Winsome was the Senior Strategic Advisor (Partnerships) at the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor at the University of Melbourne (Research), founding Executive Director of the Australian Business Arts Foundation (AbaF), Chair and CEO of the Australia New Zealand Food Authority, CEO of Greening Australia Ltd, Chair and Chief Executive Officer, Australia New Zealand Food Authority (now FSANZ), Founder and National Director, Community Child Care Association and Executive Director of Lance Reichstein Foundation.

Winsome was a councillor of the City of Melbourne and served as Lord Mayor of Melbourne in 1988-89.
