Helen Macpherson Smith Trust-MBS Endowment Scholarships available to For-Purpose Leaders
17 November 20212020 and 2021 have been an unprecedented period exemplified by dramatic social, economic and cultural disruption. The impact of COVID-19 on Australia’s 600,000 plus social purpose organisations has seen the $146 billion-dollar sector fighting for funding, volunteers and in many cases, survival.
Helen Macpherson Smith Trust and Melbourne Business School are delighted to partner to support the recovery of the social purpose sector through the provision of dedicated scholarships across a range of our short courses. These scholarships will enable social purpose leaders to gain skills and adapt during this period of disruption and support some of Australia’s most critical organisations.

Programs:
- For-Purpose Executive Leadership Program
- General Management Program
- New Leader Development Program
- MURRA Indigenous Business Program
- Women in Leadership Program
- Women in Senior Leadership Program
Eligibility: Applicants of the above named programs, who are in the For-Purpose sector.
Application: Applicants must complete the Scholarship Application (see below), and have submitted a complete application for admission to be considered. Shortlisted applicants may be invited to participate in an interview.
Deadline: 28 February 2022 (except for For-Purpose Executive Leadership Program which closed on 3 December 2021)
