$2,081,000 in new grants. . .
31 August 2021In the first funding round under our new Grants Strategy, HMSTrust has awarded five grants totalling $2.081m. They include a significant Partnership Grant of $600,000, and four Major Grants.
Grants at these levels are anticipated to contribute to our long-term Impact Goals: Building organisational capacity and sustainability – stronger organisations are able to deliver stronger outcomes; Changing sector practice – solutions that have the potential to change entrenched sector practices; Contributing to systems change – focussing on the components and structures of the systems that drive social change.

Health | Swinburne University of Technology / Wellbeing Clinic for Older Adults | Mental Health (Telehealth) Counselling Service for aged-care communities in rural and regional Victoria | To scale-up an evidence-based, free mental health counselling telehealth service for older people living in residential aged-care homes in rural and regional Victorian communities in partnership with aged-care providers | $396,000 over 3 years |
